California Couple Set to Open Smokin’ New Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Riverside
(Riverside, CA) Riverside is getting a Texas-style barbecue option on Thursday, November 6 at 11 a.m. when Bill and Rowena Seward open their second Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. The Sewards also own the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location in Eastvale. To celebrate the new Riverside location, the couple is hosting a three-day grand opening. The first 50 guests receive gift cards worth up to $50.
“We always have guests stopping into our Eastvale location from Riverside because they don’t have a Dickeys’ Barbecue near them, “said multi-unit owner, Bill Seward. “We absolutely love the changes happening in and around Riverside and look forward to bringing Riverside residents the authentic slow smoked barbecue they are craving closer to home.”
Guests can grab Dickey’s Barbecue gear on Friday with all-day merchandise giveaways. On Saturday, radio station KOLA 99.9 will be on-site from noon to 2 p.m. One lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners receive free barbecue for an entire year. A barbecue bargain is also available with $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches.
Both Bill and Rowena Seward moved to California to pursue careers in hospitality management. Rowena most recently spent five years as the controller for the Riverside Marriott Hotel. The Sewards reside in Eastvale with their four children.
The new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is located in the Riverside Plaza at 3540 Riverside Plaza Drive, Suite 314 and the phone number is 951.683.9700. You can follow along with this location on Facebook.
