Northwest Houston Gets Smokin’ New Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

(Houston, TX) Dinner options are getting tastier in Houston. On Thursday, September 25 at 11 a.m., Wendy Ridpath will open the newest Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in the Copperfield area. The new location is celebrating with a three-day grand opening and the first 50 guests receive gift cards worth up to $50

“After trying the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Buffalo, I knew Dickey’s was the franchise for me,” said first time franchise owner, Wendy Ridpath. “I’m thrilled to open and start serving delicious barbecue to the Copperfield community.”

On Friday guests can stop by for all day merchandise giveaways. Saturday’s celebration includes radio station Houston’s Eagle on-site from noon to 2 p.m. One lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year. Guests can also scoop up $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches.

Ridpath worked in insurance prior to pursuing her dream of owning a restaurant. The new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Copperfield is located at 6184 Highway 6 North and the phone number is 281.345.7528.
