Dickey’s Barbecue Saddles Up to Virginia Beach
Dickey’s Barbecue in Virginia Beach will be having a three day celebration for their new location on Thursday, February 13 to Saturday, February 15. Opening day, Thursday, February 13 the first 50 dine-in customers will receive a gift card for up to $50. “I can’t wait to celebrate our grand opening with the community,” said franchise owner Matt Burnett. “There’s a large military community in our area and many locals who have heard of Dickey’s Barbecue—I am excited to serve everyone!” Friday, customers will enjoy a day full of merchandise giveaways. On Saturday, this location will be serving $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches and there will be a special appearance from radio station 93.7 FM from noon to 2:00p.m. There will be giveaways for free barbecue for a year and a $500 gift card. Matt Burnett is originally from Ohio and relocated to Virginia Beach. He was looking for a career change and looked into franchising opportunities and Dickey’s Barbecue was a great fit.
