Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Opens New Fredericksburg Location for Holidays

(Fredericksburg, VA) Just in time for the holiday season, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Fredericksburg will be open on Thursday, December 5. The first 50 dine-in customers who purchase an item that day will receive a gift card for up to $50. The opening festivities continue for three-days. “The Fredericksburg community needed an option for good barbecue and I just know locals will appreciate our slow smoked, authentic barbecue,” said local owner Eric Wilborne. “We are looking forward to serving the community.” Friday, radio station 93.3 FM will be on site from 11:00a.m to 1:00p.m and they will be serving $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches. Three lucky winners will win FREE barbecue for an entire year and one customer will win a $500 gift card. Festivities conclude Saturday with a day full of merchandise giveaways. Eric Wilborne previously worked in the technology industry for over 10 years. He decided it was time to return to his passion in the restaurant business. Wilborne will be operating this location along with his business partner Jeff Rose, who just recently retired from the Marines.
