(Richardson, TX) Local franchisee, Mo Afzal has been with the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit family for over ten years and will open his fifth location in the Dallas-Fort Worth on Thursday, August 14. Afzal’s newest location in Richardson near the intersection of Coit and Campbell will host a three day grand opening with the first 50 guests receiving gift cards worth up to $50.

Friday, radio station New Country 96.3 KSCS is onsite from noon to 2 p.m. when the location will be serving $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. Also, one lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year. On Saturday, guests can load up on Dickey’s Barbecue gear like t-shirts, koozies, sunglasses and more.

“The Dickey’s Barbecue franchise is a great concept with delicious food and we’ve enjoyed working with Dickey’s the past 10 years,” said multi-unit franchise owner, Mo Afzal. “We’re particularly excited about this location because we are at a busy intersection and have had multiple people stop by and ask about our opening.”
