Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Las Vegas Celebrates with Mr. Dickey

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Las Vegas is throwing a three-day party from Thursday, November 7 to Saturday, November 9. On Friday, Roland Dickey, chairman of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, will be stopping by to give away copies of his book, “Mr. Dickey’s Barbecue Cookbook.”   “I was introduced to Dickey’s Barbecue while visiting in Dallas and knew I had to bring it to Vegas,” said multi-unit franchise owner Jason Rivera. “I love having a family friendly    restaurant that serves authentic Texas barbecue in the big city.”   Rivera was born into an Air Force family and moved around often. The new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Las Vegas is located at 5597 S. Rainbow, Suite 110 in front of Durango High School.   Thursday, November 7: Starting at 11:00 a.m. the first 50 customers who purchase an item will receive a gift card for up to $50. The next 100 customers will receive a free meal plate voucher with the purchase of a drink.   Friday, November 8: The celebration continues with a special appearance Roland Dickey who will be giving away 100 free cookbooks. Radio station 97.1 FM will be on site from 11:00a.m to 1:00p.m and there will be $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches. One lucky winner will have a chance to win a $500 gift card.   Saturday, November 9: Customers will enjoy a day of merchandise giveaways including t-shirts, koozies and sunglasses.
