
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in North Raleigh Celebrates with Mr. Dickey
(Raleigh, NC) Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is continuing growth in North Carolina. The new North Raleigh location is throwing a three-day party from Thursday, November 14 to Saturday, November 16 to celebrate. On Friday, Roland Dickey, chairman of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, will be stopping by to give away copies of his cookbook, “Mr. Dickey’s Barbecue Cookbook.” “I am very excited to bring more authentic Texas barbecue to North Raleigh,” said multi- franchise owner Jerry Brooks. “Having Mr. Dickey here to sign cookbooks and meet our guests will make this opening celebration even more exciting.” Jerry Brooks is from North Carolina and also owns the Dickey’s Barbecue in Knightdale. He plans to open more stores in the future. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in North Raleigh is located at 14460 New Falls of Neuse Road next to the Marquis Cinema Movie Theater. Thursday, November 14: Starting at 11:00 a.m. the first 50 customers who purchase an item will receive a gift card for up to $50. The next 100 customers will receive a free meal plate voucher with the purchase of a drink. Friday, November 15: To kick-off the party, Mr. Dickey will be giving away 100 free cookbooks. This location will also be serving $2 Pulled Pork Barbecue sandwiches and radio station 94.7 FM will be on site from Noon to 2:00p.m. One lucky customer will get the chance to win a $500 gift card. Saturday, November 16: Customers will enjoy a day of merchandise giveaways including t-shirts, koozies and sunglasses.
