Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Opens in Loveland

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Opens in Loveland, CO with Three-day Barbecue Bash

Newest Location Opens Thursday with Chances to Win Free Barbecue for a Year

(Loveland, CO) Rex Schweers grew up in Northern Colorado and knew Texas-style barbecue served up by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit would make a great addition to the area. Due to the popularity of Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Fort Collins following the 2013 grand opening, Rex and wife Brenda Black will open their second location on Thursday, July 16 at 11 a.m. in nearby Loveland, CO. To celebrate the expansion, they’ll host a three-day grand opening celebration.

“We love to see franchise success stories like Rex and Brenda,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue.  “It’s exciting to see the growth within the community and with our brand.”

Thursday, the party starts when the first 50 guests receive gift cards worth up to $50. The party continues on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. when guests can catch Country radio station K99 KUAD and grab a barbecue special, including $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. One lucky guest will win a $500 gift card and three guests will receive free barbecue for a year. Saturday, guests can stock up on their Dickey’s Barbecue gear when the newest location offers merchandise giveaways.

“Northern Colorado loves Dickey’s and we are thrilled to bring amazing slow-smoked Texas-style barbecue to the region.” said owner Rex Schweers. “Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has been a huge hit here – our guests have been asking when we would expand into the Loveland area and we’re lucky to do this with the support of the brand.”

Rex and his wife Brenda reside in Loveland. Their new location is located at 104 E. 29th Street and the contact number is 970.663.5050.
