Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Opens with Three Day Grand Opening Party in Liberty

(Liberty, MO) On Thursday, July 10 at 11 a.m., Liberty residents will get a new fast casual barbecue option. To celebrate, the new location will kick off a three-day grand opening celebration where the first 50 dine-in guests receive gift cards worth up to $50.

“Liberty is a growing yet tight knit community. There are a number of restaurants but no barbecue, which is unheard of in an area so close to Kansas City — the greatest barbecue town in the country,” said multi-unit owner, Ryan Wenrich. “I love the Dickey’s Barbecue brand and the quality of the food, I know the Liberty community will too.”

Friday, the new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will offer all day merchandise giveaways. Saturday, radio station 101 The Fox is onsite from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. This location will be serving $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. Also, one lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year.

This will be the third location for local owner Ryan Wenrich. His current locations are in Topeka and Lee’s Summit with a fourth location planned for Wichita this year. The new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Liberty is located at 600 South 291 Highway and the phone number is 816.407.7427. Keep up with this newest location on Facebook.
