Dickey’s First Location in West Virginia Opens on Thursday

Mark your Calendars for Dickey’s Grand Opening in Beckley

(Beckley, WV) West Virginia welcomed its first Dickey’s Barbecue last October.  Local owners Stephanie and Preston Reeves were enthusiastic about bringing the authentic taste of Dickey’s to the Beckley area. On Friday, February 8, the couple will be throwing a grand opening celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. where customers will enjoy $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches.

“The Beckley community has been so supportive and receptive to our slow pit smoked authentic barbecue concept,” said Stephanie Reeves. “Joining the Dickey’s family and working every day in our restaurant has been a dream come true.”

The Reeves are both native West Virginians, only leaving the state during Preston’s stint in the United States Air Force. Stephanie brings over 15 years of management experience and Preston has worked for the United States Postal Service for the last 18 years.

Don’t forget every Monday now through February, Dickey’s Barbecue is offering $2 Big Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches. This deal will make your mouth water; Dickey’s fills a buttery toasted bun with juicy marinated chicken breast, pickles, and onions and then smothers it in Dickey’s signature barbecue sauce.
