Montana Welcomes First Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the largest barbecue franchise in the country is opening its first location in Montana this Thursday, March 14 in Billings.  Dickey’s will open its doors at 11 a.m. and the first 100 guests will receive a free mouthwatering Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwich.

“It is an honor to be bringing the first Dickey’s location to Montana,” said franchise owner Ray Russell. “Billings is a great town with many big-name fast casual restaurants, but the community has very few choices for authentic barbecue.”

Russell was born in Butte and has spent most of his life there. After retiring from the Butte-Silver Bow government, he joined the Social Security Administration Office as a contract guard and has been there for over 10 years.

“Joining the Dickey’s brand has been an overwhelmingly exciting experience,” said Russell. “We can’t wait to open and begin serving authentic pit-smoked barbecue to this great community.”

This new location is near the heart of the commercial district in downtown Billings, one block from the Crown Plaza Hotel. The store phone number is 406-969-3909.

Easter is right around the corner so why not let Dickey’s do all the work and you take the credit. Dickey’s is offering whole Barbecue Honey Ham and complete meals at every location. To find out more, visit your local Dickey’s.
