Family Honors Texas Roots by Bringing Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE (August 17, 2020) – Family Matriarch Adriana Bianchi recently inked a deal to bring Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to her coastal community as she looks to share her family’s passion for Texas culture and barbecue with the local Narragansett area.

Adriana, alongside her fiancé Ward Osborne, daughter Justine and sister Rachel, plans to open two Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations in Rhode Island with the first scheduled to open as a virtual kitchen concept in Providence this October.

“Our family lived in Texas for 30 years and we’re excited to share some of our favorite comfort food with our friends and neighbors here in the North East,” said Adriana Bianchi. “I’m looking forward to working alongside my family and being able to give back to the community.”

Bianchi’s second Dickey’s location is slated to open in Spring 2021 and will be a full, quick-service restaurant located in downtown Wakefield at 171 Main St, South Kingstown, RI 02879.

The Bianchi family plans to offer Dickey’s full array of slow-smoked barbecue classics including authentic, Texas-style brisket, Jalapeño Cheddar Kielbasa Sausage, Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken Wings, Fall-off-the-Bone Ribs and more. Dickey’s delicious Texas-style meats are smoked on-site and are complemented by an array of savory sides with recipes that have been passed down by generations.
