
Roland Dickey Stops by New Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Seaside
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Seaside will be holding a grand opening celebration for its new location starting Thursday, March 6 at 11:00a.m. On Saturday, March 8 Roland Dickey, chairman of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, will be stopping by to give away 100 copies of his book, “Mr. Dickey’s Barbecue Cookbook.” “Seaside is going to be a perfect location for our slow smoked Texas barbecue,” said local owner Bryan Roche. “We’re honored to be a part of the expansion in the great state of California and appreciate the local support — we hope everyone will come celebrate with us.” Two former KFC general managers, Kevin Roche and Bryan Roche just inked a 10 year multi-unit franchise deal that will add 100 new Dickeys Barbecue Restaurants in Fresno, The Inland Empire, Greater Los Angeles and the Central Coastal market areas. Thursday, March 6:
The first 50 dine-in customers will receive a Dickey’s Barbecue gift card for up to $50. The next 100 customers will receive a FREE meal plate voucher with the purchase of a drink.
Friday, March 7:
Customers with enjoy a day full of merchandise giveaways including t-shirts, koozies and sunglasses.
Saturday, March 8:
The celebration continues with $2 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches and a special appearance by Roland Dickey who will be giving away 100 free cookbooks. Radio station 92.7 FM will also be onsite from noon to 2:00p.m.
