Welcome Back Dickey’s Barbecue

‘(Oviedo, FL) It is with great passion and pride that Dickey’s Barbecue announces the Oviedo restaurant will re-open under new management on Thursday, November8 at 11 a.m. In order to remind the community what they have been missing for months, Dickey’s will be giving the first 100 customers a free Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwich.

“When we saw Dickey’s Barbecue Pit go up for sale in June we knew that it would be the best adventure for our family,” said Glenn Hughes who owns and operates this location with his wife Stephanie. “We can’t wait to bring the joy of great tasting barbecue back to our community.”

Glenn has spent 30 years in the technology sector and his wife Stephanie has been in the insurance industry for over 15 years. The couple has three sons.

Dickeys Barbecue Pit in Oviedo is located at 5414 Deep Lake Road, Suite 1152, across from Kohl’s and Wal-Mart. The store phone number is 407.571.9506. Dickey’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

“We are unlike most restaurants because both my wife and I are actually in the store serving customers,” said Glenn Hughes. “As owners, we want to make sure the community knows how passionate we are about our business and how dedicated we are to making our customers love our slow smoked barbecue.”
