Our grandfather, Travis Dickey, started what is now our family dynasty that has gone from being a single barbecue joint to the worlds largest barbecue restaurant franchise in the world. With over 600 locations and counting, you can find a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit across the nation from coast to coast and now around the world! That’s right, we have gone international!

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has been passed down from generation to generation and still remains in the hands of our family. Our concept is family owned and operated, up to our third generation with Roland Dickey Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Capital Group and Laura Rea Dickey, Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. running the show today.
With years of success smoking the best barbecue in your city, we wanted to give back as a thank you for all of the support. Mrs. Maurine Dickey started what is known as The Dickey Foundation back in 2016, supporting first responders by providing financial opportunities and safety equipment to those who serve. “Our goal is to continuously give first responders and their families the necessary support to ensure their safety and success in the communities they serve,” says Mrs. Dickey.
